Ringette PEI Hires New Executive Director / Technical Director

Meet Ringette PEI’s New ED / TD:   Nick Longaphy
 
Nick grew up in Halifax, before going abroad to teach overseas for a few years with his wife, Jennifer. After returning to Canada, Nick lived in Hamilton for almost a decade, attending university and working in the GTA.  Nick holds a MA from Wilfred Laurier University, and a BA Honours from Mount Saint Vincent University.

While in Hamilton, Nick worked in the sports management field throughout Southern Ontario with Junior A Hockey teams, rep hockey and other youth sports programming. He has additional experience in grant and report writing, marketing and communications, and budgeting and office administration.

Nick and his wife moved back to PEI in 2017 to be closer to their families.  Nick, Jennifer and their two children currently live in the Vernon Bridge area.  Nick is very excited to take on the ED/TD role with Ringette PEI and the 55+ Games.  He looks forward to learning from the Board of Directors, volunteers, coaches and families and helping to ensure that the sport of ringette continues to grow and thrive on PEI.
