Certification

All RPEI League coaches coaching at the House league level need to be trained at the NCCP Community Sport Initiation (CSI) level. Course dates and locations can be found on http://www.coachingringette.ca/c/. Coaches will be required to make an account on this site to track their certifications and what they need to complete. Coaches must be 14 years of age or turning 14 in the present year to begin CSI training.

All RPEI High Performance coaches or those interested in coaching at the HP level U14 and above need to be certified in NCCP Competition- Introduction (CI or Comp Intro). Course dates and locations will be available soon!

Forgot your NCCP level? You can check it out here.
As a coach, you can update your personal information (name, address, e-mail address etc.), access your coaching records, obtain a printable official transcript (showing your name and address) and more!

Need to complete your Make Ethical Decisions online evaluation? Visit the Coach's Association of Canada and complete the evaluation. Make sure to select the correct evaluation for your level. If you have any questions, contact RPEI.

Police Check Form

Ringette PEI has a volunteer screening process which includes a current (within 3 years) Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Record Check. This process is applied to all volunteers or staff in positions of trust as deemed by RPEI or any of it's member clubs, including coaches, assistant coaches, managers, and other positions when deemed necessary. Please review the policy for more information and contact your club or RPEI if you have any questions.

Where you live in PEI will determine where you must go to obtain your Criminal Records and Vulnerable Sector Check. Take a copy of this form with you  along with a valid photo ID.

    For residents of the City of Charlottetown, visit the Charlottetown Police Department at 10 Kirkwood Drive.
    For residents of Queens County (excluding City of Charlottetown),visit Queens District RCMP at 153 Maypoint Rd.
    For residents of Kings County, visit the RCMP Brudenell Detachment.
 

Other:
Ringette Canada Official Rules can be received through Ringette PEI for $10.00.
 
Ringette Canada Case Book can be received through Ringette PEI for $20.00.
 
Ringette Canada Game Sheet can be received through Ringette PEI for $1.50.
 
Ringette PEI does keep a small inventory but note, if any of these items above are needed in a special order, then extra shipping costs may be added.
