Final call for Coach/Coordinator for the U12 Development Program

Ringette PEI is looking for someone to be the head coach/program coordinator of the U12 Development program however, we are also looking for others who may want to play a lesser role (ie. manager, on ice assistants, assistant coaches, etc.). The U12 Development Program has played an instrumental role in the recent success of our Wave & Edge programs.  Our ringette athletes coming through U10 and into U12 are anxious and anticipating the opportunity to participate in this vital program, but we need VOLUNTEERS to help deliver it.
The U12 Development Program is scheduled to be run out of the Morell Community rink on Saturday mornings at 10:20 & 11:30. The program will help develop our next generation of WAVE/EDGE players by introducing them to the early stages of RPEI’s High Performance program. RPEI endorses the concept of the creation of 2 relatively equally skilled teams to play a series of exhibition games with teams from PEI, NB and NS to provide healthy competition at this critical stage of their development. The idea of the 2 teams is to introduce the High Performance world to a broader group of future PEI ringette stars.
Help us continue to run a vibrant and challenging program by giving some of your time to this great sport. We need you, but more importantly our children need you!

• Coaching credentials
• Ringette coaching experience
• Other leadership experience
• A seasonal plan and team goals
